More Mixed Media Art

Morning all, hope your all doing well.. So sorry I haven't been in blog land much.. Ive just had so much going on.. I really have a hard time keeping up with everything..I have been staying up later so that I can do a few of the things that I enjoy.. Like starting an art journal to play with some of my

sketches and mixed media art in... I thought Id share a few of them with you today.

OK so like I said they are not that great, But I really am enjoying playing with the different mediums.

Something Different....

Hello everyone.. Hope your all doing well..  I have something a little different to share with you today..

Its my venture in to Mixed Media.

 A few weeks ago I started playing around with  Mail Art, that in no time lead me to mixed media..

It also lead me to sketching,  I use to do that a lot as a kid..

But was never that good at it.. Well I'm still not that great at it, But have been enjoying

 giving it a try again..

Here is one of the sketch's, that I used on this  project.

I know, I know, she not really in proposition.

Here she is colored

So then I painted a canvas with Acrylic paint. Did some stamping on it., Some stenciling, Colored the butterfly's with markers, added some flowers, and added the text..I know its not that great But I cant begin to tell you how much fun I had with it..

Boy do I ever feel dumb!!

Hi everyone, I finally pop over here to my blog and looking around I seen that I had

 totally forgot to post my GDT cards for 

THE SEND A SMILE 4 KIDS

 Challenge!!! 

 I swear, I think I have half timers!!

I'm  SO  SO  SORRY!!! 

I had won one of their  top three challenge spots, a while back ago, and was given the chance to be a GDT.' member. I  was given three darling images from one of their sponsors

Wee Stamps. The other Sponsor is Karen's Doodles.

Anyways here is what I came up with..  



I absolutely love these sweet little images and really enjoyed working with them.. Well I do hope you will pop on over there and have a look around. The DT has done such a beautiful job with their  creations.. And once again I am really sorry!!

Getting my mojo back..

Good morning everyone.. Hope your all doing well and enjoying this beautiful Sunday morning..

And HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all!!

Well I think I'm finally getting my mojo back.. At lest I'm feeling like crafting again.. I have two cards Id like to share with you today.. They are just for the fun of it. No challenges..

Just fun..

I used a sweet little LOTV stamp on this one. I also used some punched flowers, Palmer clay flowers, lace, MS punched border, dolily, and swirl die cut.

On this one I used a MO's image , Prima flowers with spacer-pearl, Palmer clay flowers, mini roses, lace, MD Leaf punch, and swirl die cut.

And last Here is another smash page that I did a while back

This is my nice ,my daughter Shelly, and son Kenny when they were all little.. Well that's it with the creative stuff today. But I would like to share that I'm going to be doing a card  making class this coming weekend  in Pocatello, at the Red Lions Inn. For this years scrapbook conference.

The 18th and 19th so if there is anyone in that area please stop by and say Hello..

Smash it..

Hi everyone, Hope your all doing well. I had a little time today to smash a few pages.

 So I thought I would share them with you.

I was going through some of my scrap stuff and ran across this cute little poem. 

The little image is from Saturated Canary. The little film strip is one of my

 new die cuts that I won from die-ing for a challenge (Dies to die for.) 

This is a layout that I did of my grand daughter Lacy.. I cant wait for school to get out so she can come visit for a few weeks.. She loves to craft with me, so I'm going to make her a smash book to smash in.. I'm sure she will enjoy it.. Well that it for tonight. Hope you all have a lovely weekend..
